Nagpur: An MLA from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) representing Ramtek assembly constituency Mallikarjun Reddy ran into troubled waters as a non-cognizable offence has been registered against him at Ramtek police station. A group of women has alleged that he got involved in the scuffle with them. These women had gone to Reddy’s residence on Friday. Reddy too learnt to have filed a complaint against the women.
Sources said some women had tried to approach Reddy with a complaint regarding micro-finance. The women claimed that Reddy was unwilling to listen to their grievances and tried to leave the place which resulted in a scuffle.

The women later approached Ramtek police station to lodge a complaint where Reddy’s secretary too had reached to file a counter complaint.
