Nagpur: Marathi movie ‘Citizen’ that will hit the screens on October 16, 2015 all over Maharashtra is a movie that every-person who has ever attended a college will identify with the actors and the actress and like it.

Renowned Director Amol Shetge, Actress Rajashree Landge and Cameraman Suresh Deshmane to display their extraordinary talent came together and dished out the marvelous movie “Citizen”.

The youth based cinema Citizen is produced under the banner of Krishnaraj Films.

Director Amol Shetge, Actress Rajashree Landge and Cameraman Suresh Deshmane while speaking to media personnel said that they tried to emulate the voice of today’s youth through the movie. A number of talented new faces would be witnessed showing their acting skills.

Actress Rajashree Landge further added that this movie is not based on any theme or subject nor is the movie categorized under any particular genre, still the movie will appeal to every member of the family who come to watch the movie. The Director claimed that this is probably the only Marathi movie that does not have any song and dance items.
The script writers of the film are Amol Shetge and Rajashree Landge. The lilting music has been provided by Master Musicians Avinash-Vishwajeet. The cinematography is done by Suresh Deshmane while Santosh Futane is said to the Art Director. The Editing of the film is done by Sarvesh Parabh.

The lead actors include Rajashree Landge, Rakesh Vashishta, Yatin Karyekar, Pushkar Shotri, Uday Tikekar, Nandini Jog, Shrirang Deshmukh, Madhav Devchakke, Kaustubh Diwan, Sushma Deshpande, Rishi Deshpande, Prateek Janjeere, Sunil Ranade and others.

The film depicts college life in realistic terms.
