Nagpur: In the first case, a lady lost her life attempting to save the life of a dog which came in front of her TVS Scooty two-wheeler. The deceased is identified as Sonali Nasre aged 26 years and a resident of Dabha. The incident occurred on October 19, 2014. When Sonali was returning home on her TVS Scooty, suddenly a dog came in front of her vehicle and she applied sudden brakes to prevent the vehicle from running over the dog. This caused her to fall down and she sustained injuries to her head. She was admitted to a private hospital in Ramdaspeth, where she died while undergoing treatment on October 21, 2014. On receipt of the information, the Ambazhari Police has registered a case of accidental death and is investigating further.
In the second freak accident, a youth lost his life when the youth slipped and fell down while coming out of a canal where he had gone to take bath. The deceased is identified as Avinash Sonawane aged 19 years and a resident of Sidharth Nagar slums. The incident occurred on October 20, 2014. According to police sources, Avinash Sonawane had gone to take bath in the canal flowing right in front of the house. After taking bath when he was coming out of the can, his leg slipped and he fell into the canal. After that he could not be seen. On October 21, 2014, his dead-body was found floating in the canal. On receipt of the information, the Koradi police personnel reached the spot. The Koradi police has dispatched the dead-body for post-mortem after performing the panchanama. The Koradi police has registered a case of accidental death and is investigating further.
