As soon as the State Government approves the proposal appropriate decision on minimum wages to Aapli Bus employees will be taken. Currently, the wages are being pain in accordance with the laid down norms.

It may be recalled that city buses had remained off the roads for almost two days in the first week of September as drivers and conductors resorted to strike demanding action against a police constable for assaulting a conductor. Facing allegations of molesting the constable’s wife, the conductor got bail and was released. However, no action was taken against the police constable despite an assurance given by higher authorities.
