The nation today celebrated the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. On this day in 2012, Nagpur Today, Nagpur’s first and only E-newspaper and information website was launched at 11:00 am in Tilak Patrakar Bhavan, Nagpur. Nagpur Today is an E-NEWSPAPER based out of Nagpur. It contains sections viz NEWS TODAY, ENTERTAINMENT, BUSINESS, SPORTS, PAGE 3, EDITOR, NAGPUR CRIME, HEALTH, EDUCATION, FOOD, FINANCE, LIFESTYLE etc. Nagpur Today is the city’s first e-newspaper. It runs under the aegis of Nishank Web Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The name and business strength that has been earned by the Parent Organization today, is due to the professionally equipped and able staff, who have a varied experience of the Web market and good knowledge of serving the customers to their satisfaction. This is further enhanced by the innovative ideas of the management, who strive from time to time in creating awareness and providing a platform to the voice of Nagpurians, keeping all commercial benefits aside. The website was launched by Hon. Shri Banwarilal Purohit, ex-MP and Managing Editor – The Hitvada. Mr. Girish Gandhi, Trustee Vanrai and Mr. Dipen Agarwal, President NVCC were the chief Guests. Mr. Pradip Maitra, President – Patrakar Bhavan Trust and Mr. Shirish Borkar, President NUWJ were prominently present on the occasion. The website was introduced by Abhishek Singh, Managing Editor of Nagpur Today and Kumar Neelabh, News Editor guided through the Website.

Suhani Vanjani, Media Manager and Marcello Azavedo, Marketing & PR presented the event. The guests i.e. Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, Shri. Girish Gandhi, Shri. Dipen Agarwal and Shri. Bodhankar enlightened the present. Shri Banwari Lal Purohit gave examples of how technology has changed over time. He also spoke about the strides that Media and Journalism have taken in the past few decades. He appreciated the design and concept of Nagpur Today and that it is suited for all age groups. Shri. Dipen Agarwal wished that Nagpur Today should one day become a household name. Shri Girish Gandhi and Shri Bodhankar emphasized on the importance of truthful journalism and elucidated about the impact of journalism on the masses. Members of the Media fraternity we also present on the occasion. Meghna Majumdar, Reporter, Sandeep Gurghate, Photojournalist, Ravikant Kamble, Reporter and Tushar Muthal, Reporter welcomed the guests.
