Talking to a leading daily, Lopamudra shares her happiness, “This is definitely the best morning for me, as I have discovered I’ll be representing India at Miss United Continents 2016. It is quite an emotional moment for me because this is something I have been waiting for years. After winning Femina Miss India Goa 2013…winning so many subtitles and then again being in the top 4 in Femina Miss India 2014, It was quite a journey for me. Finally, I got the opportunity to represent my country. Honestly, there’s nothing like it. I have always been called by my name ‘Lopamudra’ but the feeling of being called “India” would bring me immense pride.”, said an emotional Lopamudra Raut.
fbb Femina Miss India 2014 and Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2014 finalist, Lopamudra had won the subtitle of Femina Miss Body Beautiful 2014. Prior to this, Lopamudra won Femina Miss India Goa 2013 and was also one of the finalists. She also won many subtitles in 2013 which were – Yamaha Ray Femina Miss adventurous, Enhance Femina Miss Body Beautiful, Mochi Femina Miss Awesome Legs.

This is the 4th edition of Miss United Continents beauty pageant and Indian beauty queens have performed really well at the pageant. Last year Sushrii Shreya Mishraa was placed as the 3rd runner up, whereas in 2014, India’s Gail Nicole Da Silva won the 1st runner-up spot in the contest and in 2013 Purva Rana from India won the title of Vice Queen at the Miss United Continents pageant.

“I feel honoured and at the same time it is a feeling of major responsibility as the whole country would count on me. I will give my best and I will do everything in my ability and power to make it happen in a dignified way. I just need blessings and support from my people. Finally, I would like to thank Times of India and Femina Miss India team for believing in me and giving me this lifetime opportunity.”, concluded Lopamudra Raut.
We have high hopes from Lopamudra. Nagpur Today wishes her all the very best!
