Nagpur: Anti-Narcotics Cell of Crime Branch on Thursday nabbed a car-borne 63-year old woman and seized one kilogram of charas worth Rs 1 lakh. The cops also confiscated Mahindra XUV 500 car (MH-49/AS 9997) worth Rs 18 lakh and cash Rs 4000.
The cops received secret inputs that the Lakadganj resident accused woman, who has not been identified, was in possession of the cannabis (charas) and travelling in Mahindra XUV 500 car. Acting on the tip off, the Crime Branch sleuth intercepted the car and frisked the accused woman. Cops found she is in possession of 1.10 kg charas worth Rs 1 lakh.
