Nagpur: A gang of unidentified miscreants stole 1,300 litres of diesel worth Rs 1.17 lakh from four trucks parked in Wadi area in the intervening night of December 11 and 12. The thieves are being searched by police.
The complainant, Bhanupratap Shrikamkhay Tiwari (40), resident of Waddhamna, Shivkrupa Complex Room No. 4, told police that he works as Supervisor in a Malva Garage. The owner of the garage Ravindra Kumar had parked his two trucks (MH-40/BL 8921 and MH-40/BL 9521) and Harichandra Yadav had also parked his two container trucks (MH-40/HA 3006 and HR-55/AD 0306) at the garage.

Between 0030 hours of December 11 and 9 pm of December 12, some unidentified miscreants smashed covers of diesel tanks of the four trucks and stole 1,300 litres of diesel worth Rs 1.17 lakh.
Wadi Woman PSI Gobale has registered a case under Section 379 of the IPC. Cops are searching for the diesel thieves.
