An 18-year-old boy was arrested while a minor boy was booked for lurking a 16-year-old girl and kidnapping her on May 11. Sources said, Balkisan Gulab Soni (18), a resident of Plot No 223, Sonba Nagar, Khadgaon Road, Wadi along with his minor friend lured a 16-year-old girl and her friend and allegedly took them to Maiyyar for ‘darshan’. Their parents started a search for them but the girls were nowhere to be found.

On the complaint of the girl’s father, cops registered an offence against both the teenagers under Sections 363 and 34 of the IPC. The cops have arrested Balkisan while his minor friend has been booked. Further investigations are under way.
