1800 students of NMC schools avail benefit of ‘Gift of Health’ initiative

Nagpur: More than 1,800 students of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) schools benefited from the health facility of ‘Gift of Health’, a joint initiative of Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Rotary Club Nagpur Ishanya. On Wednesday, students of GM Banatwala School were examined under ‘Gift of Health’ initiative.

The initiative, under the leadership of Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary and under the guidance of Additional Commissioner Anchal Goyal, is getting a spontaneous response. More than 1800 students of the municipality were examined by a team of expert doctors.

The important initiative has been taken by the Municipal Corporation to ensure that the students studying in NMC schools are not deprived of health facilities, they get better health facilities and their health is taken care of regularly.

This initiative is getting support from reputed institutions like Indian Dental Association, Nagpur, New Era Mother and Child Hospital, Arihant Hospital, Madhav Netralaya, Hope Hospital, etc. The concept of ‘Gift of Health’ initiative has been introduced with the aim of providing medical services to every needy student in Nagpur city.

A complete health check-up was conducted for the students of GM Banatwala English Medium School.
