Nagpur: Two goons not only molested a 22-year old girl when she was returning home after work but also attacked her brother murderously. One of the goons has been arrested. The incident took place in Ganeshpeth area here on Tuesday afternoon.
The complainant girl told police that she was returning home after work in the afternoon of Tuesday. At the same time, the two accused Sushil alias Chhepratap Gupta (20), resident of Bajeria and Raja Khan of Hansapuri accosted her and caught hold of her hand. The two accused also indulged in obscene acts and thus outraged her modesty. She narrated the nasty incident to her mother and brother. After a while the two accused were found loitering in front of the girl’s house. Her brother immediately confronted them leading to hot exchange of words. Suddenly, one of the accused Raja Khan whipped out a sword and attacked the girl’s brother with the intention of killing him.
Ganeshpeth Police Constable Devendra Chavan, acting on the complaint of the girl, booked the two accused under Sections 354(D)(1), 307, 506(B), 34 of the IPC and managed to arrest one of the accused Sushil Gupta. Cops are searching the other accused.
