Nagpur: In another unfortunate incident, the 25-year-old wife of a Police Constable died after receiving a heavy jolt of electricity passing through the Water-Cooler on June 29, 2016.
According to police sources, the deceased is identified as Kavita Premlal Bambal aged 25 years and a resident of Plot No 3, Anupam Cooperative Society, Gio Colony, Gorewada. On June 29, 2016, at around 1:30 pm, when the deceased Kavita was doing house-hold work, she received a powerful electric shock from the cooler kept inside the house.
Sources added that her husband Police Constable Premlal Bambal deployed in Gittikhadan Police Station and some neighbours had rushed her to Indira Gandhi Government College and Hospital (Mayo) for treatment. However, the attending doctors declared Kavita dead during the course of primary treatment. Sources added that the deceased had a 4-year-old child.

On receiving information of a MLC (Medico Legal Case), the cops of Mankapur Police Station rushed to the spot. The cops are investigating further.
It could be recalled that another family, with the head of the family a former Police Inspector too had died in Mankapur area after receiving electric shock from Cooler.
