Nagpur: The city’s signature cultural event ‘Kalidas Mahotsav’ started today on Tuesday at Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Sabhagruha here with bouquet of performances by gifted artistes, hich has the theme ‘Shakuntala — Voice of Indian Woman’ this time.

Cities well known personals were present on the first day of the opening ceremony of kalidas Samaroh. Divisional Commissioner of Nagpur Dr Sanjeev Kumar, Mayor Nanda Jichkar, Zilla Parishad President Nisha Sawarkar, Collector Ashwin Mudgal along with MLA Sudhakar Kohale were part of the event.
