Nagpur: In disturbing incidents, three minor kids, including two boys and a girl, went missing and have reportedly been kidnapped in different areas of city. Cops have launched searches to trace the kids.
The first to go missing was a 16-year old girl, resident of Kalamna area. The complainant father of the girl told police that his daughter left home around 1.30 pm on Monday (Sept 28) without informing anybody in the family. However, the girl did not return home even after lapse of considerable time setting panic in the family. All efforts to find the missing girl proved futile. Finally, a complaint was filed at Kalamna Police Station.
In the second incident, a 15-year old boy fled his home after being scolded by his father and thereafter went missing. The boy, Yogesh Santosh Maskare, resident of Rajiv Nagar, Isasani Road, near Dargah, was roughed up by his father Santosh Visan Maskare (38) for playing instead of going to school. The ‘angry’ Yogesh left the home at 8 pm on Monday and did not return. A search by relatives of Yogesh failed and later a complaint was lodged at MIDC Police Station.
Similarly, a 13-year old boy Harsh Krushna Tiwari, resident of Surendragadh, behind Premlata Decoration, went to school at 8 in the morning of Tuesday. However, Harsh failed to return home even after school hours and since then went missing. A complaint in this regard was registered by Sneha Heeralal Sharma (21) with Gittikhadan Police Station.
Cops at all the three concerned police stations, following directives of Supreme Court that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, have registered offences under Section 363 of IPC and searching to trace the missing three kids.
