3 more kids go missing in separate incidents

missing logoNagpur: Continuing the disturbing trend, three kids, two boys and a girl, went missing from different areas of the city in the past 24 hours forcing the cops to launch massive search to trace them.

A Tandapeth resident Shakuntala Narayan Pakhale (50), in her complaint to Panchpaoli police, said that her 14-year old son Anand alias Golu Narayan Pakhale took Rs 500 from his father for purchasing new cloths and left home around 2 pm on Sunday. However, Golu did not return home till late hours and since then has been missing.

Similarly, 16-year old Yash Rakesh Agrawal, resident of Flat No. 202, Second Floor, Saikrupa Apartment, Gandhinagar, had gone out with his mother on Monday. At about 11 am, Yash told her mother that he is going to home for fresh. However, when Yash’s mother, Santosh Rakesh Agrawal (41), went home, she did not find him there. Moreover, Yash did not return home even after considerable time. A frantic search of Yash by his mother failed to locate him anywhere. The panicky mother finally approached Ambazari police and lodged a missing complaint.

In the third incident, a 12-year old girl, who used to beg at Tajbagh Dargah premises, went missing since3.30 pm of Sunday. Her mother, staying with husband, 5 sons and the elder daughter in a rented house in the area, went to Dargah to see her daughter. But she could not find her despite a search in the vast premises. The 12-year old girl has not returned home till to date even after almost 48 hours. The mother registered a missing complaint with Sakkardara police.

In all the cases, cops of Panchpaoli, Ambazari and Sakkardara Police Stations, following the Supreme Court directives that if any minor boy or girl goes missing, then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, registered cases under Section 363 of the IPC and have launched a search to trace the three kids.
