Nagpur: Three teenage girls, including two friends, went missing in Kalamna area on Wednesday afternoon. Cops have mounted an intense search to trace the girls.
In the first incident, two 16-year old girls, both friends, left their home in Kalamna around 11 am on Wednesday by telling their families they are going out and would return soon. However, both the adolescent girls did not return home even after a considerable setting panic among family members. The panicky relatives searched the girls frantically at all possible places but could not find them. Finally, a missing complaint was lodged with Kalamna police.
Woman PSI Kokane, as per the directives of Supreme Court which say that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be treated as that of kidnapping, registered a case under Section 363 of IPC and launched a search to trace the two girls.
Similarly, a 17-year old girl, resident of Kalamna, phoned her mother around 2 pm on Wednesday and told her that she will return home by evening. But till to date the girl did not return home and a search to locate her proved futile.
PSI Sonparate, based on a complaint, registered a case under Section 363 of IPC and searching the missing girl.
