Nagpur: A 73 year old man has been sentenced to three years in jail along with a fine of Rs 500 for molesting a seven year old innocent girl back two years back.
Accused Prabhakar Hole, 73, was convicted of molesting the girl in 2016. As he was charged guilty district and additional sessions judge TG Mitkari on Monday announced the punishment. Hole who has to serve rigorous imprisonment for three years, was the landlord of the survivor.
He had sneaked Hole, landlord of the survivor, had sneaked into his tenant’s residence to target the minor when her mother had gone out for work. An offence was registered at Hudkeshwar police station in October in 2016 following a complaint by the survivor’s mother.

Hole was also slapped with relevant sections under Protection of Children against Sexual offences Act (POCSO). The court eventually held Hole guilty after hearing the arguments of both prosecution and defence.
