Nagpur: Forty trucks of illegally mined sand parked near Bokhara Tower lines have been seized by Koradi Police Station. The cost of this illegally mined sand is said to be Rs three lakhs twenty thousand (3, 20,000/-).
According to police sources, the complainant Shrikant Rale lodged a complaint that an accused identified as R K Yadav has kept 40 trucks of 80 Brass illegally mined sand parked near Bokhara Tower lines.
Koradi Police immediately rushed to the spot and seized the sand trucks. The accused R K Yadav had allegedly kept the sand without giving any royalty.
