5 ICADians feature in Top 20 AIR of NMTC Exam conducted by AMTI

Continuing the legacy of ex-ICADians, this year 5 ICADians have qualified the prestigious National Mathematics Talent Contest (NMTC), conducted by the Association of Mathematics Teachers of India (AMTI). ICADians Harsh Dolhare (AIR-2), Sameer Pande (AIR-7), Vedant Bonde (AIR-12) & Suraj Hajra (AIR-13) qualified the Inter Level whereas; Ms. Sampada Mahajan has qualified in Junior Category with AIR-44 rank.

The most significant fact is that every year, at least 3 ICADians have featured in TOP 20 All India Ranks of NMTC. This distinguish achievement holders in last 3 years are; Sameer Pande, Harsh Dolhare, Shovan Swain (IIT yderabad),Ashwin Tayde (BITS-Pilani), Pranjal Warade (IISc Banglore), Suraj Hajra, Anurag Bharadwaj (IIT Kharagpur) and Rupanshu Ganvir (IIT-Powai)

The AMTI is a pioneer organisation in promoting and conducting Mathematics Talent Tests in India. NMTC is conducted to discover and encourage those students who have the capacity for creative thinking and willingness to counter unfamiliar and non-routine problems, exhibiting a general mathematical ability appropriate to their knowledge level.
