Nagpur: Various employees organisations in district have decided to participate in countrywide strike on September 2 in response to strike call given by All India State Government Employees Federation, country”s 11 Central trade unions, independent federation of employees of service and industries establishments to protest anti-worker policy of Central and state government, increase in prices of essential commodities, unemployment, labour legislation, curbing illegal contractual employment etc.
As many as 55,000 employees in district are going to participate in this strike which is going to be 100 per cent successful, office-bearers of various organisations have claimed.
State Government Employees” CentralFederation, Maharashtra and Maharashtra State Zilla Parishad Employees Federation and other organisations have made joint appeal to make this strike successful. But some organisations have decided not to participate in this strike.
