Nagpur News: The traffic police have booked 578 motorists for drunk driving on March 26 and 27 in the city. Despite of heavy police presence on the streets, 12 people were killed in separate mishaps in the city. Most of the accidents happened due to drunk driving.
Leaving apart their enjoyment in the festival of colours, the traffic cops were deployed with breath-analyzers; they stood at major intersections and took tests on motorists. It was learnt that many traffic cop were not having breathe analyzer. However, though many managed to give slip to cops, police successfully booked 578 people.
