Nagpur: In a big move, RPF has arrested two smugglers with 580 bottles of liquor of an estimated worth of Rs. 40,600. As inform the sources, to monitor liquor smuggling, a team has been formed under Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, Jyoti Kumar Satija.
The seizure was conducted when Constable Vikas Sharma with five other RPF personnel were patrolling in Suvarn Jayanti express stationed at platform number 2. Sharma spotted two suspicious men with five bags. On searching, the bottles were found and the duo was arrested.
The men Ajay Sanjay Kamble and Vinay Dhurve are residents of Hinganghat and Wardha respectively. On enquiry, they informed that the bottles were carried to be sold in Chandrapur.
