Nagpur: In a tragic incident, 6 persons were killed in a mishap that took place in Kanpa village under Nagbhid Police Station limits on Sunday noon.
According to the information, six persons were travelling in a car from Nagpur to Nagbhid on Sunday noon. While heading towards Nagbhid tehsil, the car rammed into a travel bus (MH-33/T-2677) near Kanpa village, some 116 kms away from district headquarters, coming from Nagpur to Nagbhid. The impact was so severe that four people, who were in the car, died on the spot. A girl and a woman were seriously injured and rushed to hospital for treatment. However, the seriously injured woman and the girl also died, while undergoing treatment at Nagbhid Rural Hospital, informed a police officer from Nagbhid Police Station.
The deceased included three women and two men who died in the mishap. The deceased has been identified as Rohan Vijay Raut (30), Rushikesh Vijay Raut (28), Gita Vijay Raut (50), Sunita Rupesh Fender (40), all the residents of Nagpur; Prabha Shekhar Sonwane (35), a resident of Lakhani (Bhandara) and Yamini Fender (9), a resident of Nagpur.
