7 booked for brandishing weapons during procession in Kamptee

Nagpur: Old Kamptee police have booked seven persons for brandishing lethal weapons during the Dhol Tasha procession. The incident occurred on October 11 evening.

Accused persons have been identified Manish Pillay, Sonu Tabbi Pillay, Ganesh Swamy, Krisnamurty Patre, Rajesh Pillay, Ganesh Pillay and Raja Pillay and others. The organizers did not stick to the given rules in the permission given by police and violated the rule during the procession taken out from Old Godown area.
