Nagpur: Tension ran high in Wadi Naka area when a young man was found murdered on Mondayafternoon. The body was found crushed with stones. Initially, the deceased has been identified as Abdul Razik Majid Shekh (29), resident of Zingabai Takli.
According to police, the wife of the deceased Abdul Razik had lodged a missing complaint just three days ago. Later, the cops identified the body as that of Abdul Razik. After receiving the information on wireless, Gittikhadan police had reached the spot and investigated the crime scene. The cops found body of Abdul Razik in gruesome state. The body bore blows by an axe and stones.
Police surmise that around 48 hours had lapsed when Abdul was done to death as foul smell had started to spread in and around the locality. Because of the same reason, people had gathered at the spot where Abdul Razik was found murdered. His relatives suspect that one of ears of Abdul was eaten away by wild animals. He is survived by wife, a five-year old daughter and a son of three years.
