Nagpur News: The U-16 girls of Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines have clinched the numero uno position in the CBSE zonal level Badminton competition organized by Yugantar public school, Rajandgaon.Miss.Shika Batra of standard X has been adjudged the best player. The team comprised of Ms. Shika Batra, Abhishri Kabra and Purva Rathi. The prize constitutes a gold medal, trophy and certificate.

Pallavi Pitale, Mugdha Agrey and Rashi Lambe bagged the 2^nd  position in the U-14 girls category. The award includes a trophy, silver medal and a certificate. In the U-19 girls category the team comprising of Rujuta Bhagwat, Radhika Katdhare and Bhairavi Shrivastava secured 2^nd  position which includes a trophy, silver medal and certificates.

The U-16,U-14 and U-19 girls have qualified for the Nationals to be held at Kennedy, The Global School, Hyderabad from 15^th to 19^th December, 2012.
