Nagpur:
A three days’ state level model exhibition competition and exhibition was inaugurated at Guru Nanak Engineering Institutes, Kalmeshwar road, Nagpur. This exhibition is organized under Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE), which is a Govt. of India Scheme. Around 1050 models of students from eight regions of Maharashtra, Viz. Mumbai, Nasik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Latur, Amravati, Pune and Nagpur are exhibition their model’s in this competition.
At the inaugurate function, Mr. Narayan Joshi, Director, State institute of Science Education told that out or there 1050 models, 50 models will be selected, awarded and sent to compact at the National Level. Dr. Narendra Kanhe, Principal, GNIT welcomed all the participants and their teachers to Guru Nanak Institutions. He informed that the models are from the field of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Agriculture, non- conventional energy sources. Lot of innovative techniques have been applied and the young brains of Maharashtra applied and the young brains of Maharashtra students are reflected. These students from 6th to 10th standard have got excellent opportunity to exhibit their inspired research.
An Audio visual from CM Devendra Fadnavis was the major attraction of the event and was being appreciated by all. Sardar Navneet Singh Tuli, CMD of Guru Nanak Institutions expressed his joy and satisfaction to host around 3000 people for 3 days inclusive of students, teachers and parents. He congratulated the principal and entire team of GNI to organize such a huge event. At the inaugural function Mr. Nago Ganar was the Chief Guest and Mr. N.K. Jarag, Director of Education, Mr. Govind Nandede, Director, Maharashtra State Council of Education & Research ,Mr. Ukesh Chavhan, Mrs. Nisha Sawarkar, Z.P. President, Nagpur, Mrs. Vibha Nimbulkar, Chairperson, panchayat Samiti, Kalmeshwar, Mr. Anil Pardhi, Deputy Director of Education, Mrs. Tanpreet Kaur Tuli, MD of GNI, Dr. Sanjeev Shrivastava, CEO, GNI, Dr. N.V. Deshpande, Principal, GNIET, Mrs. Madhuri Sawarkar, Prof. SISE were also present on the dais. Dr. Prashant Washimkar HOD Mechanical Engineering Department proposed the vote of thanks, Dr. Manisha Mahatme hosted the proceedings of the program.
