Ltd., Vipin Kamdar and Dr Bora and his wife made their presence felt at Sankalp-Dhamal Dandiya 2015 at Dixit Nagar, Opposite Star Motors, on Kamptee Road. The dandiya event, this year gripped a peculiar charm having held at the beautiful SDPL Greens, Kamptee Road, Nagpur. Indian culture transcends all borders and countries. The rich and varied heritage and culture enamors and entices the Europeans, Americans and Africans. These foreigners not only like our culture, they also like our attires of myriad colours and textures. They love to adorn these apparels too. Such a sight was seen in the Sankalp Dandiya -2015 too. A group of Europeans who were in the city took part in the Sankap Dandiya 2015 attired in the traditional Gujarati attire. Unmindful of the chaos or what other youngsters are doing, these European Youth danced away in the Garba steps which they learnt by watching others.
The success of Sankalp Entertainments reflects on the rich and elite of the city attending the Sankalp Dandiya. What started in 1994 has now developed to become one of the much awaited events in the city. However, a significant thing that was noticed was that most of the gals and the ladies were attired in designer and custom made dresses and attires. While the guys and the menfolk were prominently attired in traditional Sherwanis or Kurta Pajama.
The Food-Court is really an oasis in the desert since it catered to the thirst and hunger of the visitors of Sankalp. The pavilions and seating arrangements were an added advantage for the family people since it offered a place for respite and relaxation.
The dance too was done in a pretty decent manner and not similar to Garba or Dandiya dance performed at other places where youthful exuberance is seen.
