One of sons of deceased had love affair with a Hindu girl
Awadh/ Nagpur: The Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the students’ wing of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) has sensationally revealed that the incident of lynching Muhammad Akhlaq (deceased) was not the cow-slaughter, but it was because deceased Akhlaq’s one of the sons was in love affair with a Hindu girl, said media reports.
The ABVP will further elaborate on the said issue, at its annual convention in Sitapur from November 1 to 3. Interestingly, Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik is scheduled to be a part of the meeting.
News appeared in the media, that one of Akhlaq’s sons had an affair with a local Hindu girl, and the subsequent attack on his family was a result of this very contention, ABVP Awadh region organisation secretary Satya Bhan, told the scribes.
“Various political leaders hid the real issue and spoke about beef consumption for political gains and UP minister Azam Khan’s move to write to the UN, all these will be explained in detail,” he added.
Satya Bhan also alleged that the UP government gave funds to Akhlaq’s family because they belonged to the minority community. As it happens, the ABVP isn’t sure which of his sons was supposed to be having an affair with a Hindu girl.
Other issues to be discussed, include, communal harmony, women’s security, female foeticide, terrorism, unemployment, and law and order in UP, amongst others issues, said ABVP sources.
Meanwhile, the Congress came out all guns blazing against the ABVP, for saying that the Dadri lynching was the result of an inter-religious love affair.
“The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and its affiliates want to change India’s character and social fabric. The reality is what happened in Dadri was barbaric and to justify it is even more ridiculous,” said Congress leader Manish Tewari.
