From Rubeka’s Kitchen: Chicken and Chips Casserole

It is a simple and yummy dish from American and Canadian Cuisine A casserole is a large, deep dish used both in the oven and as a serving vessel. The word is also used for the food cooked and served in such a vessel, with the cookware itself called a casserole dish or casserole pan.

Ingredients:
2 cups diced boiled chicken
2 cups chopped celery
½ cup Toasted chopped Almonds
¼ tbsp grated onion
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup Mayonnaise sauce
½ cup grated cheese [Preferably Cheddar]
1 cup crushed potato chips

Method:
Combine all the ingredients and mix properly except cheese and potato chips. Pile lightly into a casserole, sprinkle with the cheese and chips. Bake in a very hot oven for about 15 to 20 mins. Serve hot directly from the casserole.
