Nagpur: Five tricksters, including three Directors of a company, in a well-planned conspiracy approached a number of students and their parents and lured them with an assurance of good marks in Pre-Medical Test (PMT) exams. With these assuring words, the five accused tricksters usurped over Rs six lakh from the students and their parents. Forget the good PMT marks the accused con persons even did not return their money.
According to details, the accused fraudsters Mangesh Pote, resident of Plot No. 301, Shivani Apartment, near BT Convent, Beltarodi Road, Krushnarao Akula, native of Hyderabad, the three Directors of D D Target DMT Pvt Ltd Company Prakash madhav Yedekar, Seema and Ajay, both residents of Delhi, approached the complainant Avinash Madhusudan Badge (43), resident of Gautam Nagar, near Gaddigodam Police Post, seven other parents and students.
The five accused won their confidence with assuring words that the students would fetch good marks in PMT exams. In return of the favour, the accused took Rs 6,68,120 collectively from the parents and students. However, the accused did not complete the PMT course and left the students in the lurch.
On the basis of a complaint, Ambazari PSI Tripathi has registered a case under Sections 408, 420, 34 of IPC against the five accused and launched a thorough investigation into the matter.
