Nagpur: According a press note issued by Nagpur (Rural) police, under the jurisdiction of Bhivapur police station’s imposed nakabandi, illicit liquor being transported by a motor cycle, was seized at about 5.30 pm on November 13, 2015 at Nandafata point, 20 kms away from Bhivapur.
The seizure included foreign liquor in 48 nips of 180 ML each, valuing Rs 7,680 and also a bike No. MH-34/ W-9419, total seizure worth Rs 42,680.
The police arrested accused Nikhil Dadaji Bokade, 20, resident of Nagbhid under Chandrapur district. The police have slapped offences against him under section 65 (A), (E), Mumbai Prohibition Act.
