Hyderabad/ Nagpur: Spreading scare and concern for all school-going children, a 3-year-old girl child died after being stuck in a lift in a private school here on Tuesday, police said,

According to sources, Rehana Fatima, a student of first standard, was going to her class room on the third floor when she got stuck between the lift doors and died.

The incident occurred at Star Kids School at Moosrambagh in Malakpet area.

Tension prevailed at the school as the victim’s parents and family members staged a protest, demanding action against the school management for their negligence.

In another incident, a 3-year-old girl died after getting stuck in the school elevator.

Senior police officials rushed to the spot to control the situation. They questioned the school principal and others.
Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased and other local residents gathered in front of the school and held a protest demanding stern action again.
