Nagpur: Nagpur today on Sunday recorded the coldest day in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra with the minimum temperature recorded at 6.2 degrees Celsius.
Gondia recorded a low of 6.9 degrees Celsius, MeT officials said.
Besides, Akola recorded a minimum temperature of 9.5 degrees Celsius, while Amravati was also cold at 9.6 degrees Celsius.
The other prominent places in Vidarbha also witnessed a cold day with Buldhana recording a minimum temperature of 12.2 degrees Celsius, Bramhapuri 8.1 and Chandrapur 8.3 degrees Celsius.
Wardha and Yavatmal recorded minimum temperatures of 9 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively, the officials added.
