Nagpur: Vidarbha Economic Development Council (VED) is organizing a Talk, “Challenges in Managing the Family Business” by Kumar Gera, Founder President – CREDAI & Chairman, Gera Developments, Pune (Real Estate Developers) on Sunday, 21st Feb. 2016 from 4-6 pm. at Tamarind Hall, Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines, Nagpur.

Kumar Gera, a stalwart of the profession, leads Gera Developments Pvt. Ltd. as its Chairman. Forty years of hard work, perseverance and a commitment to real estate have allowed him to realize his vision of turning his family-run business into a brand name that is synonymous with professionalism, quality and respectability. He is the Founder President of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) and was instrumental in conceptualizing and creating CREDAI as a common platform for all real estate developers across India. He was also the World President of Jaycees in 1979.

This Talk for business-owning families would provide outstanding opportunities to the participants to learn from each other about family governance and succession planning. It would serve as an exclusive platform for the owners of Family Businesses and their family members. Such a talk is relevant today where family squabbles regarding inheritance are a matter of great concern as likely to clear the way for structuring inheritance matters properly so that such problems don’t arise in the first place.
