Former Pakistan army general Pervez Musharraf today exclusively spoke to India Today and admitted that the Pakistan’s intelligence wing Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) trains Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Tayyeba terrorists.
Soon after the interview, Musharraf fainted and was taken to a hospital in Karachi for treatment.
Minutes after IndiaToday interview with General Musharraf, he complained of breathlessness. Report suggests that he is in ICU.
According to reports, Musharraf was at his home with family when he suddenly fainted. Musharraf has now been shifted to PNS Shifa Hospital amid tight security.
Reportedly, a team of doctors has been summoned to examine him and doctors would conduct various tests on Musharraf to determine the cause of his fainting.
Musharraf, 72, has been braving health issues for some time. In 2014, he was taken to hospital following a hear-related problem the day he was scheduled to appear in the court.
