Fashion and actress Rupali Suri go together. The girl is a regular with the fashion industry and has been walking the ramp for some of the best designers in the country.
Two of her favourites are Rahul Mishra and Vaishali S. “The latter’s garments are very feminine and even give that great look in silhouettes,” quips the spunky gal. Rupali is quick to add that she also likes the sensibilities of some other budding designers. “It’s all about perfect cut and fit, isn’t it,” she asks.
So how does she define personal style? “Though I am particular about dressing sense and colour schemes, I go with the flow. I’d say, my personal style is a mix of comfort and colours. One can’t carry a garment that one is not comfortable in. I’d rather be stylishly comfortable than comfortably stylish.”
So true! Describing fashion as a reflection of one’s self, mirrored in one’s personality is probably the finest description it can have. After all, the way a girl dresses up and carries herself, speaks volumes about her persona and adds attitude.
The Gladrags MegaModel winner will soon be making her big screen debut, playing a key role in director Arun Frank’s first feature film Dad… Hold My Hand. Being made entirely in English, the film shot in London and Mumbai, is expected to do the rounds of the festival circuit, apart from releasing in India and the West.
