Nagpurians joined rest of India in expressing excitement. At the end of the 19th over, when four runs were required in sal balls, Nagpurians cad already started rushing towards West High Court Road to start celebrations.
As Indian skipper M S Dhoni hit the winning four off the first ball of the ast over, cheem ripped through the night and celebratory slogans lighted up the atmosphere. The Nagpurians were `Kohlified’ in a way, and the celebrations continued well past midnight with the Indian national flag being the only colour of the moment of victory.
