Two women injured by bullet fired from firing range of Kamptee Training Centre

Nagpur: In what could be mentioned as freak accident, two women were injured by bullets fired from firing range of Kamptee Training Centre on April 13, 2016.

According to sources, the unfortunate incident occurred when the two women were working in the field next to the Firing Range of Kamptee Training Centre.

The injured women are identified as Kachra Bai Sadashiv Meshram aged 50 years. This woman sustained bullet wounds to her hand. Sheela Bai Anil Gharde aged 40 years too sustained bullet injuries to her leg. Both the injured women are said to be residents of Gadha village.

Both the injured women are undergoing treatment at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (Mayo).

The Kamptee police have registered a case of accident and are investigating further.
