Nagpur: A young boy was attacked murderously by a middle aged man for refusing to give him money for liquor in Sonegaon area on Sunday. The accused assaulter has reportedly been arrested.
The victim, Himanshu alias Bablu Shankar Girde (24), resident of Sonegaon, was returning home walking around 3.30 pm on Sunday. Midway, the accused Jagdish Bhagwan Kakde (40) of the same area stopped Himanshu and demanded money for enjoying liquor. However, Himanshu flatly refused to part with the money as demanded by the accused Jagdish. Himanshu’s refusal led to heated exchange of words between the two. Suddenly, in a rage, the accused Jagdish attacked Himanshu with a sharp-edged scissor and stabbed him on neck with the clear intention to kill him.
Sonegaon PSI S H Meshram, on a complaint of Shankar Nagoraoji Girde (48), has registered a case under Section 307 against the accused Jagdish Kakde and probing the matter further.
