Nagpur: The day after the reshuffle of IPS cadre in the rank of Deputy Police Commissioner and Superintendent of Police in which three new DCPs are joining city police force, an exercise of jumbo proportions was undertaken on Thursday in which 30 Assistant Police Inspectors (APIs) and 59 Police-Sub-Inspectors of Nagpur were shunted from one Police Station to other in city itself. The internal transfers also saw 20 Woman PSIs being shifted to other police stations. According to police sources, the massive exercise of shifting the APIs and PSIs was for administrative reasons as well as requests for transfers.
