Nagpur: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on the occasion of Dhammachakra Pravartan Din announced construction of Metro Station near banks of Kanhan River. The station will be named after Dragon Palace Temple of Kamptee.
Gadkari was speaking after inaugurating dynamic lighting at Dragon Palace Temple Dhammachakra Pravartan Din. The impressive lighting covers the stupa and is a sight to watch post sunset. Adv Sulekha Kumbhare, President, Ogawa Society, presided over the function. Dragon PalaceTemple is established in Karmayogi Dadasaheb Kumbhare area and the Ogawa Society is furthering the cause of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar thoughts and the cultural and research centre has been named after him.
The 10 acre area of Dragon Palace Temple is a tourist attraction and further the impressive statue of Dr Ambedkar inside the Stupa provides a perfect backdrop of serenity in the campus. The thoughts of Dr Ambedkar continue to inspire the visitors who throng the centre in large numbers from around the world.
Adv Kumbhare in her speech urged Gadkari to provide sanction for setting-up of incense stick manufacturing cluster under MSME.
