Middle aged man attacked at country liquor shop in Ajni

Nagpur: An argument over shouting led to brutal assault at Jaiswal Country Liquor Shop near Rajkamal Chowk; after an employee reportedly attacked a middle aged man with knife here, on Friday. The incident reported under Ajni Police.

Based on the complaint lodged by Mahendra Banduji Jinde (50), a resident of Vishmakarma Nagar Ajni Police have booked the accused employee of liquor shop Vinod alias Bacha, also a resident of Vishmakarma Nagar.

According to police sources, Jinde was enjoying early in the morning liquor at Jaiswal Country Liquor Shop on Friday. However, after consuming some liquor he started shouting. Thus, at around 10 pm Vinod tried to intervene but failed as Jinde started hurling abuses at him. Owing to which an argument broke out between them. During the same, Vinod reportedly whipped out knife from his pocket and attacked Jinde.

Based on the complaint lodged by Jinde cops have booked accused Vinod under Sections 324,504 of the IPC. Further investigation is underway.
