Nagpur: A youth was brutally hacked to death by some unidentified miscreants in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar under Yashodhara Nagar Police Station between the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Imran alias Immu Hamid, a resident of Sanjay Gandhi Nagar.

According to police sources, armed with sharp edged weapons, a group of assailants attacked Hamid in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar vicinity and killed him on the spot. Some locals who found his body laying in the pool of blood reportedly alerted Yashodhara Nagar Police Station.
Acting swiftly on the inputs, cops rushed to the spot and sent body for autopsy. Though, the exact reason behind murder could not be ascertained by the timing of filing this report. Cops, in the meantime, have registered an offence of murder and launched the manhunt of the accused.
