Nagpur: In a shocking incident, a young man first molested a girl and then tried to kill her by hanging with her own scarf. The incident took place in Koradi police jurisdiction on Friday night. The accused has not been arrested as yet.
According to police, the accused, Addya alias Adesh Durgadas Tirpude (23), was caught in a theft case. Due to this reason, the 21-year old girl had stopped talking to the accused. Furious over this, the accused Addya, on Friday around 11.15 pm, went to the house of the girl and first trashed and molested her. Later, the accused tried to kill her by hanging her to an iron pipe at the roof with her own scarf. However, the accused could not succeed in his evil plan.

Koradi ASI Padmakar Dhurve, based on a complaint in this connection, booked the accused Addya alias Adesh Durgadas Tirpude under Sections 307, 354 of the IPC and probing the matter further. No arrest has been made in the case so far.
