Nagpur: A Pedestrian was knocked dead by a speeding unidentified vehicle late Saturday night. The accident occurred on Amravati road in Wadi police station area, officials said.

The deceased was identified as Avinash Dilip Choudhary (25), a resident of Mohod Layout, 8th mile.
According to police, Choudhary was walking on the road at 10.15 pm. A speeding vehicle came from another side and hit the man. Choudhary sustained grievous injuries in the mishap. He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
