Nagpur: The body of a 4-year-old Arnab Pankaj Somkuwar was found floating in Suradevi Canal in Koradi here, on Monday. Arnab was reportedly missing since Saturday evening.
Arnab was playing in front of his residence in the Koradi area when last spotted. His parents started searching for him when Arnab didn’t return home. The anxious parents then alerted the Police Control Room. Acting swiftly on the input, the squad of Koradi Police swung into the action.

According to police sources, around 100 cops were pressed into the action immediately after being alerted. Arnab remained untraceable till Monday morning.
Cops, in the meantime, have registered a case of accidental death as per procedure and sent the body for autopsy to ascertain the cause of actual death. Further investigation is on.
