“The difference between a business and a brand is same as the difference between a Musician and a Rockstar”, says Bhavik Mehta, Brand chief at Thinkin’birds, the brand & content agency that has created over 300 brands globally and has become the go-to team in the hospitality sector to make their brand stand out. Branding a restaurant as their long suit, Thinkin’Birds wanted to conceptualize the in-store branding in sync with the recent cafe culture. So they did!
“Days were spent in naming the cafe, zeroing in on the concept & overall brand image they wanted to put forth’’, says Ankita Isarka from Thinkin’Birds, the one who came up with the brand name. The core concept being minimalism, the brand identity was conceptualized in a manner that it speaks to you. They mainly played with typography in the logo, packaging, menu, uniform and designed the brand elements around it.
When it comes to hospitality, the interior and the space play a huge role in providing a customer experience. Architect and Interior designer; Sonal & Kriti Birdi with their prowess have helped countless businesses in hospitality to achieve the right vibe that attracts their audience. A perfect blend of Branding and designing, Thinkin’Birds and the Birdi sisters are the Dream team. This duo has once again come together to create the newest coffee shop and eatery, Pours and Plate.
To get the perfect vibe of a cafe, one needs to cover all the bases, the place should be aesthetically beautiful yet fun and give the customers a space which they can come to when they step out. “The ground idea was to keep the original structure intact and not disturb the homely vibe it already had, we did break the volume but still kept it simple”. Says the vibe master Sonal Birdi.
The cafe embodies an earthy yet contemporary decor style, which is the essence throughout the entire structure, right from the furniture to the walls which play with the pastel color palette. The place has comfy outdoor seating with multiple gazebo setups and the floor covered with smooth white pebbles. Lights intertwined with jute give a fresh look to the cafe.
The indoor seating area is also soothing to the eyes, the wall along the staircase exhibits a collection of hand-painted plates which illustrate the brand elements on the wall. “We wanted to create a space which is appealing to everyone. From catching up with friends to cute little dates, to family dinners, our aim is to be the go-to place for all of these and surely Thinkin’birds and Sonal have brought our vision to life”, adds Kanha Jaiswal, the Chief Eating Officer at Pours and Plate.
