Nagpur: Fuel prices saw yet another hike on Tuesday, March 29. The price of petrol was raised by 80 paise a litre and diesel by 70 paise. This was the seventh hike in fuel prices in the last week since March 22, following a four-and-half-month long hiatus in rate revision.
In Nagpur, petrol and diesel prices stand at Rs 114.71 per litre and Rs 97.49 per litre respectively.
Indian oil companies, which did not revise petrol and diesel rates for a record 137 days despite prices of crude oil rising to $117 per barrel compared to around $82 in early November, are now passing on to consumers the required increase in stages.
