Nagpur: A MAN was arrested by police on charges of illegal transportation of liquor. The police have seized liquor and a twowheeler collectively worth Rs 55,000 from his possession.
The accused was identified as Munna Vasudeo Singh (60), a resident of New Futala, Amravati Road.

According to police, Singh was found transporting liquor on an Activa scooter on Saturday night. He was caught near Futala lake, the police said.
Under the guidance of DCP Zone II (Addl charge) Basawraj Teli, the arrest was made by PSI Kunal Dhurat and staff including Pramod, Mahesh, Jayanta, Shafi and Akib. A case was registered at Gittikhadan police station.
